I'm not exactly sure how but I believe the buttler says more than he actually says. I think he plays a bigger role than we know. I know he doesnt say anything in the story at all, but it just makes me wonder how could he be living with emily and not be able to help her out, or tell anyone about Homer. Did he know if Emily was buying the rat poison or not? I also wonder why he doesnt talk to her or try to be her friend if nobody else in the town will. I'm not sure if this is going to really go anywhere in a paper but hopefully I can turn it into something.
