Favorite Book
I really dont like to read all that much. I dont have a certain book that is my favorite. I like to read books taht I can relate to, because then it is easier for me to engage myself. In highschool we read Grapes Of Wrath and I absolutely hated it because I couldnt relate to it at all so I just didnt care... As long as its interesting and grabs my attention then I will be able to read it because I will want to, but I have a hard time finding books interesting. Hopefully these books we will be reading in class will be!

Random Blogg
I dont really know what to blog about so I am just going to talk about my week I guess...
So this past weekend I had my first meet, it was against UND we lost but they were really good and the team didnt do that bad. Almost everyone got best times, or at least pretty close too them. Sunday I stayed up really late studying for a psych test that I think I still failed, but oh well. Monday night I stayed up really really late writing this paper that I couldnt even get to six pages. Its a lot. Practice was hard yesterday, it wasnt too bad today. It is absolutely freezing outside and I hate it. I dont have any of my winter stuff up here so it kind of sucks. Hopefully its not as windy and I dont blow away when I'm walking outside anymore. That about sums up my week so far!

I have decided to write my paper on reality t.v
Even though I love watching reality T.V. my side of this is that it is not all real. It may not be scripted but a lot of it is people acting a different way to get the most publicity.
There wont be as much emotioal appeal to my topic as others. There will probably be a lot of opinions which will end up being my emotional appeal. There will be a lot of people who watch reality t.v. a lot and feel strongly that what there watching is what you get and that its all completely real. There will also be a great amount of people who just think its garbage, and all fake.
There will be a lot of articles debating my topic I hope. There is the topic of the exploitation of reality t.v. There also is the arguments of the whole editing process, and what they actually put into the show, or take out of it.
I believe this is a good topic to debate because a lot of shows are starting to become not as popular because of the population of reality t.v. A lot of teens are more drawn to reality t.v. and I think it will be an interesting topic to find out why, and if what were watching is real or not.

Reflection
So far I would have to say comp is one of my favorite classes here. I have always liked english because it has nothing to do with numbers or equations. I love to write. I dont really do it in my free time but I would way rather have my homework be writing a paper than trying to solve 50 math problems. I wouldnt consider myself a good writer but I am no where near good. I am excited to improve my writing skills.
I have only found myself struggling with few things. The format of writing my paper is sometimes hard because I am so used to just writing a five paragraph essay. I also really do not like the library quiz things... Hopefully they will get better but I have a feeling they wont...

Draft Two
For my draft two I didnt had to fix a few things. I had to re-read my paper out loud to myself to fix a lot of grammer errors, and make sure everything sounded okay. Next I had to add a lot more descriptive words. I really tried to make it so the reader could feel what I was writing and understand the situation a lot better. For my proposal essay... I have a lot of work to do. I need to add my works cited page if i can figure that out, and include proof/supporting sentence for all of my paragraphs.
